Aim Trainer
Free online aim trainer. Click targets against the clock, see reaction time, accuracy and targets per minute. No signup, no download.
Click the targets as fast as you can
Clicking anywhere else counts as a miss, so accuracy matters as much as speed.
What this tool is for
Click targets as they appear and get the numbers that actually describe aim: average reaction in milliseconds, accuracy including the clicks that missed, and targets per minute. Target size and session length are adjustable, because tracking a small target is a different skill from reacting to a large one. Your best result is kept on your own device and never leaves it.
How to use it
- Choose a mode: against the clock, or a fixed number of targets.
- Pick the target size. Small targets punish precision, large ones measure pure reaction.
- Click the targets. Clicking empty space counts as a miss, so accuracy is real.
- Read the summary: reaction time, accuracy, targets per minute, average distance from centre.
Frequently asked questions
What is a good reaction time here?
Clicking a target that has just appeared takes most people 400 to 600 ms including the mouse movement. Under 350 ms is quick, and the number rises sharply as targets get smaller because aiming takes longer than reacting.
Does mouse or screen matter?
Yes, and it is worth knowing by how much. A 60 Hz screen adds around 8 ms of latency compared with 144 Hz, and wireless input adds a few more. That is small next to human variance, so compare yourself against yourself, not against other setups.
Will this make me better at games?
It trains the narrow skill it measures: acquiring a static target quickly. Tracking a moving target and predicting where one will appear are different skills that this does not cover.
