The formulas

Fahrenheit to Celsius: subtract 32, then multiply by 5/9. For 69.8 °F that is 37.8 x 5 / 9 = 21 °C.

Celsius to Fahrenheit: multiply by 9/5, then add 32. For 21 °C that is 37.8 + 32 = 69.8 °F.

Celsius to Kelvin: add 273.15. Kelvin has no degree sign and no negative values, since 0 K is absolute zero.

Oven dials in Europe are usually set in round steps, so a recipe asking for 350 °F is normally baked at 180 °C, and 400 °F at 200 °C. Fan ovens run hotter; reduce by about 20 °C.

How to use it

  1. Enter a temperature in any scale.
  2. Read the equivalents.
  3. Copy what you need.
